Well over two years ago, the curiosity got the best of me and I went to e-harmony.com to see what kind of guys they had in mind for me. I wasted a good amount of time taking their personality profile only to reach a rejection page with something along the lines of "x percent of you, we just aren't sure who you would be best compatible with, so rather than rish a bad match, we will just deem you as incompatible with everyone. sorry" Wow. Nobody compatible with me? Bummer.
I moved on to match.com where I met my boyfriend who I have now been dating for the last 2 years and 3 months.
Recently, I saw an Ad in people magazine featuring a woman's photo with a stamp on her forehead that read "REJECTED by Eharmony." very entertaining. My boyfriend knows the eharmony experience of mine and we poke fun at it, so the ad was quite amusing. I showed my friend and told her what had happened all that time ago to find that she had the same experience as I. NOTE THAT WE ARE BOTH STRAIGHT, CHRISTIAN Females! The founder of eharmony is a religious man who is not matching homosexuals on his website which is the reason behind the current lawsuit they face. But no, they won't even match good ol' us. Not that I'm gona sue, get a life. Anywho....
Having said all that, I was thrilled to hear the lawsuit story on the Kane show on Tuesday morning and even more thrilled to be the first call taken on the air about the issue! Fun times!
