Friday, July 17th, is the last episode of The Price is Right of the season. And after 36 years, it will probably never look the same after that. Make sure you watch...get a good look...maybe even take a picture. You might never see the show in the same format again. The format that we've all grown to love and find comfort in is likely going to change when they start taping Season 37 this Sunday.
FremantleMedia, the French company that owns The Price is Right (not CBS), fired Roger Dobkowitz...the man who produced The Price is Right for the last 36 season and even worked there longer than Bob Barker himself.
I guess in this age where foreign companies are buying up American companies like Anheuser-Busch, it was only a matter of time before they meddled in even more American traditions. "The Price is Right" is going to change. And NOT for the better. It's change for change's sake. Another reason to hate the French.
Enjoy these few clips of Price as I'll always remember it. First up is a reel of highlights from Drew Carey's first season. Then, you can relive my own exciting appearance on The Price is Right before Bob Barker retired from 35 years of hosting.

Oh well, so much for the American, apple pie feeling! :-/ Awww I'm sad for you! :-(
