Every day I feel my heart growing stronger for you
As my walls break down inside my bitter heart

Helping me take baby steps to learn how to love again
Healing the shards of my broken heart with each step
Witin each step and day learning something new

If I could have one dream come true for myself

It would be to have you love me every day

To wake up every morning looking into your eyes

Taste the warmth of your lips that take my breath away

Feel the caress of your finger tips along my skin

Hear the beat of your heart against mine as we lay together

Open my heart up to you and show you my love

Let my guard down and my fears go away for you

Teach you how to love again the right way and strong

Heal all the pain that you’ve been holding inside

Wipe away all the tears that you have shed

Guide your hand into the right direction and the future

This is all but a dream that I have for us

Broken Hearted

Broken hearted in my own desitue despair
Loveless night alone within my being of sorrow
Self medicated with nicotine and alcohol
Along with useless nights of pleasure
Nothing more or less to easy the pain
A year without love or wasted energy
Basking in the mellow escence of life
Wasting away as the days past into the future
Mending my heart in solitude within the walls
Protecting the gold that is within my spirit
Warmth inside my being becoming numb and cold
Bitter still yearning for love and comfort to heal
Desiring the sweet kisses and affections of another
Unwilling to expose the anguish harvest in my soul
Restless nights with broken dreams of love
Disappearing into the fears of what has been lost
Hidden in the hopes of a new beginning
Scared of those second chances
Wanting nothing more but to be held
Wondering who will ever kiss away my tears
Will I be consumed by the cold spirt within?
Will my heart ever mend right again?
So many thoughts remain unanswered
Maybe one day love will find its way back
I will love again strong and proud
