About Me Hm, about me.....what do you want to know? There's not much to tell I guess. At least nothing too interesting. I'll try to give you the highlights: Grew up mainly in CT (MA for a few years before that) outside of New York City and moved to northern VA about 9 years ago. Went to college to be a teacher. Always knew I wanted to be one. I teach elementary music (strings...violin, viola, cello and bass) to 4th, 5th and 6th graders. They keep me in check and down to reality. Kids are always honest! It keeps me busy but best of all I have my summers off!!!!! Yes, since I teach music I play music. Been playing the violin since I was in 4th grade. Been in all sorts of ensembles. Joined a swing band for a few years down here in VA and did some great gigs with them. Lots of big DC things and weddings. Played gigs with the "Saturday Night Live" band, "Gloria Gaynor", "Felix Cabrera". Went to Hong Kong to play a wedding for an hour (yes, all expenses paid for four days AND was paid on top of it!). Was able to meet lots of classical people too, "Yo-Yo Ma", "Joshua Bell", "Itzhak Perlman". Did a CD as back up violin/vocals for Bruce Parker (brother of actress Mary-Louise Parker). Came out pretty good. I think it's in Borders stores (at least his last one was). My son is the love of my life and what keeps me going. Quite the character! Keeps me on my toes and always laughing. A newly turned 2 year old! Trying to be a good mom so he grows up happy and healthy. He makes me be and want to be a better person. So are you sick of me yet? I'm outgoing, fun to be with, honest, and just myself. I can't do anything other than that. I cherish the good in life and try to get over the bad. Life is too short to worry about the little stuff. If I worry about what other people think then I'm wasting good partying time! Good friends are hard to find but I'm willing to give anyone a chance. I say, you are my friend from the start. It's up to you to screw that up!

Music Love all music pretty much, other than heavy metal or crazy rap. Really into country. For as much as people say they hate country music I have to admit I really like it. It's real. Although, I love the pop stuff too! Hey, what can I say, I'm a girl and I love to dance too! I could sit and listen to music all day.

Movies Too many to mention. The woman in me loves romance movies. Anything with passionate kisses and where the guy will fight for the girl. Can't go wrong with action and good fight scenes. I love a good scary movie too, but they are always better with someone to hide your head in or cuddle up to!

TV Lost, Heros, 24, House, any stupid MTV show, and for as much as I hate to admit it a bunch of reality shows. Yes, I watched "American Idol" but only the last few shows. Can't stand the whole 1st part. Only start to watch it when they are down to the last 5 or so. Then it gets good. TV is my friend.

Books Harry Potters. Been reading a Dan Brown book. Pretty good. Hope to finish it soon. Don't read as much since I have a 2 year old! He keeps me busy!

Hobbies Music (listening, playing or singing...karaoke baby, don't deny it! Get me on stage and let me loose!), outdoor stuff (skiing/snowboarding), played rugby in college (yeah, i know, i can kick your ass), cooking and then of course eatting it, movies, wine, being with friends. LOVE to travel and see new places and experience new cultures. Want to eventually hit every continent. Almost got all the states (need Alaska and Nebraska). I'm up for whatever. Want to try and do so much (sky dive, get tattoo, finish a rubix cube.....)
